This Privacy Policy explains what personal data Xignal collects, why, and how it is used and protected. Xignal, operated from Sweden and reachable at customersupport@xignal.pro, is the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. By using Xignal, you agree to this policy.
We use your data only for the purposes below. For users in the EU/EEA/UK, the GDPR legal basis for each is noted in parentheses.
We share the minimum data necessary with the following processors to operate the Service:
Each provider processes data only as needed to provide its service to us. We do not sell your personal data to anyone, ever, and we do not use third-party advertising or tracking.
Some of our providers process data in the United States (for example Stripe, Twilio, SendGrid, and Google); our database is hosted in the EU. Where personal data is transferred outside the EU/EEA, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework and/or the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete or anonymize your personal data without undue delay, except where retention is required by law (for example, billing and bookkeeping records) or needed to resolve disputes or prevent abuse.
You can access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time from your account settings, or by emailing customersupport@xignal.pro. If you are in the EU/EEA/UK, you additionally have the right to restrict or object to processing, the right to data portability, and the right to withdraw consent at any time (without affecting processing already carried out). You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority — in Sweden, the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY) — or with your local authority. If you are a California resident or in another jurisdiction with data-protection law, we honor the rights that law grants you; contact us to exercise them. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
Passwords are hashed (bcrypt); data in transit is encrypted (HTTPS); database access is restricted. No system is perfectly secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security, but we take reasonable measures to protect your data.
We use only essential cookies (such as login session tokens) that are strictly necessary for the Service to function. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.
Xignal is not directed at, and not intended for use by, anyone under 18.
We do not use your personal data to make automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects about you. Alerts are triggered automatically, but only by rules you configure yourself.
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected here with an updated date and, where appropriate, notified by email.
